PowerPoint: Async Notifications for Copilot in PowerPoint
Ship Outcomes, Not Chat
What it is
PowerPoint: Async Notifications for Copilot in PowerPoint. Tags: Copilot. Roadmap id 570436.
What it does
Enable users to leave PowerPoint, switch devices, go offline, or end their workday while remaining confident that Copilot will notify them when work is complete or requires attention. GA date: October CY2026
What to worry about
Async notifications help when agents finish jobs. Noise without completion is chat theatre again.
What it means for users
Treat Copilot as the door people already open. Route work through agents that finish steps under identity and audit.
