# Microsoft Teams: Copilot Chat for chats, channels, calls, and meetings in GCC, GCC High, and DoD

**Ship Outcomes, Not Chat** — a short read on a Microsoft 365 roadmap item.

## What it is

Microsoft Teams: Copilot Chat for chats, channels, calls, and meetings in GCC, GCC High, and DoD (Copilot, Teams). Roadmap id `569214`.

## What it does

Copilot Chat will soon be available across chats, channels, calls, and meetings, helping users stay informed and catch up quickly. GA date: October CY2026

## What to worry about

Search-plus-chat is useful discovery. Do not mistake fluent answers for shipped outcomes.

## What it means for users

Treat Copilot as the door people already open. Route work through agents that finish steps under identity and audit.
